• The PeopleNet Display.5 (PD.5) is an Android-powered fixed-mount display built specifically for commercial trucking applications. This display enables customers to implement a ruggedized driver interface for complying with the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) mandate, as well as leverage many other applications such as Driver Assist, Navigation and In-cab Scanning. When paired with Trimble Video Intelligence cameras and DVRs, driver experience is elevated by providing greater visibility to the surrounding environment allowing drivers to maneuver vehicles more simply. Side and rear cameras will utilize the Driver Assist feature to stream views directly to the in-cab display when turn signals are engaged or the vehicle is in reverse to remove blind spots and prevent accidents. If the PD.5 is also paired to a PMG on-board computer, event recordings will be triggered by true engine events adding even greater value to customer safety programs.
